Betsy Schroeder on “Essential Oils and Therapeutic Uses”

Historically, essential oils have played a prominent role in everyday life. With more than 200 references to aromatics, incense, and ointments throughout the Bible, essential oils are said to be used for anointing and healing the sick. Today, essential oils are used for aromatherapy, massage therapy, emotional health, personal care, nutritional supplements, household solutions, and much more (quote from Young Living Essential Oils).  Betsy is a distributor for Young Living and will be giving an introduction to therapeutic grade essential oils. She will give an overview of the many uses of essential oils with a focus on health related issues.

Mary Shidler (The Kayak Lady) on ‘Your Bucket List”
Mary Shideler did not let her short stature interfere with a quest to paddle all 1,007 lakes in northern Minnesota’s Itasca County. Sometimes with the help of friends, but often on her own, she carried her kayak through brush, trudged across bogs in tall boots, and put up with hordes of mosquitoes and legions of wood ticks.  Along the way, she also learned to trust her own capacity to overcome obstacles, including her fear of being alone. Now she wants you to get inspired to follow your dreams. Start your own 101 List of the things you want to do before you die. Hear about Goldie, who at age 80, began her bucket list and has successfully accomplished 70% of her goals. If she can do it, so can you!

In addition to her license as a Homeopath, she has an M.S. degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology. She graduated from the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in Minneapolis.
