CUISINE

Our menu emphasizes local, seasonal and organic foods that include a balance of whole grains, a rich variety of fruits and vegetables, protein from nuts and legumes. Two menus are offered depending on the retreat type. The Lifestyle Wellness retreats are primarily vegetarian and include both cooked and raw foods. The Detox Wellness retreats offers an all-vegan diet with an emphasis on vegetable juicing. Warming soups are served in the fall and winter months.

Lifestyle Wellness Menu

Breakfast:
Gluten-free organic oatmeal and fresh fruit and nut bowl
(Served with pure maple syrup tapped from local Sugar Maple trees.)

Lunch:
​The Green Monster Salad & Butternut Squash Soup
(Organic spinach, chard, broccoli, green beans, avocado, dried cherries & walnuts. Served with butternut squash soup.)

Mid-Afternoon Green Smoothie:
Green smoothies made from an assortment of organic dark leafy greens and organic fruit. Note Green Smoothies are available as a substitute for any meal.

Dinner:
Avocado, apple, jicama, and glazed walnut salad
(Romaine & arugula tossed with an apple vinaigrette, sliced organic apples, jicama, avocado, dates and walnuts, topped with a drizzle of honey.)

Served with potato leek soup​ and a fruit dessert.

Hot or cold tea (green or herbal) and lemon water is served with all meals and available throughout the day. Organic coffee is served at breakfast only.
Detox Wellness Menu

The Detox Wellness menu is an all vegan, organic and mostly raw cuisine. A variety of artfully prepared fresh and dried fruits, greens, vegetables, freshly made vege juice as well as some raw nuts and seeds (soaked and dehydrated) that are detoxifying and cleansing to the body are emphasized. Herbal teas and fruit infused waters are served throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as a mid-afternoon "green smoothie" is provided.
